引言
现代汉语中，有标志的被动句是指被动句中出现"被""让""叫""给"等直接表示被动意义的句子；在英语中，有标志的被动句通常可以以这样的公式表述："be/get（系动词）+V-en（动词的过去分词）+（by 短语）"。关于两种语言有标志的被动句的分类情况前文已经进行了系统的阐述，此处不赘述。
一、 句子中有施动者的情况
在汉语被动句中的"被""让""叫""给"等短语和英语被动句中的"by"引导的短语，都有着相同的语法作用，就是引出施事者。例如：
钱包被他拿走了。
（施动者是"他"）
He was beaten by his father.
他被父亲打了。（施动者是"his father"。）
（一） 二者在句子中的位置不同
"被""让""叫""给"等短语和"by"引导的短语都在句子当中充当状语成分，一般情况下，现代汉语中状语的位置会出现在主语之后，包括"被""让""叫""给"等及其短语结构。例如：
我被老师狠狠地批评了。（"被老师"放在主语"我"之后。）
在英语中，句子的表达、构成则跟汉语不一样，谓语动词在句子中充当了最重要的成分，作为修饰成分的状语可以放在句子的前面也可以放在句子的后面，不拘一格。例如：

二、 句子中没有施动者的情况
在现代汉语及英语句子当中都存在着不出现施动者的被动结构，那么，英语中的这种结构就是由"be/get（系动词）+V-en（动词的过去分词）"构成的，但不出现by短语，而在现代汉语中也有着不使用"被""叫""让""给"等明确表示被动情况的字或短语，但在这种情况下，施动者还是会出现的。例如：
The president was shot dead.
总统被射杀了。（具体是谁射杀的没有出现。）
这栋大楼是一位著名的建筑师设计的。
在有标志的英语被动句中，如果没有出现by短语用来表明施动者的时候，大多数情况是泛指，而有的时候是无法说出或者很难说出施动者。在现代汉语的被动句中，如果不出现施动者，则说明是泛指。如果是某一个人所为，那么通常加施动者。
