A Northern Lights Tour means an intense and exciting chase― to the coast or deep into the wild, perhaps even to the Finnish border. Each day on a Northern Lights Tour we contact meteorologists shortly before departure to get accurate information, in order to find out where we will have best chances to see the northern lights.
The northern lights are unpredictable, but we guarantee that we will do everything to find it. Patience is a keyword on a Northern Lights Tour.
We offer ecologically sustainable and responsible tours. Travelling in small groups is an essential part of the ecotourism concept, as small groups have less impact on nature and will not disturb the wildlife unnecessarily.

The story of Muhammad Shahid Nazir seems to prove that if you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day, but if you teach a man to sing about fish, his song will shoot up the British pop chart(排行榜).
The 31yearold Pakistani fishmonger(鱼贩)became famous recently in the unlikeliest circumstances: while hawking(叫卖)frozen snapper and mackerel for one British pound at Queens Market in London.
Not satisfied with shouting to attract customers, he came up with a simple song to promote his sale.“Come on ladies, come on ladies, one pound fish! Have a, have a look, one pound fish! Very, very good, one pound fish, ” sang Nazir in the market.
When the song was posted on YouTube earlier this year, it became a hit quickly.
Nazirs YouTube video could have been the end of the story. But Warner Music offered Nazir aprecious deal to record “One Pound Fish”.
The music video has been viewed nearly 9 million times since it was posted on YouTube about four weeks ago. As the song became more and more popular, people began talking about it as a serious competitor for the No. 1 Christmas single in the United Kingdom―the song that tops the chart in the week when the Christmas holiday falls. Past charttoppers include The Beatles “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and Whitney Houstons “I Will Always Love You.”
In the end,“One Pound Fish”made it to No. 29 on the top40 chart. Nazir definitely doesnt view missing out on the No. 1 Christmas single as a failure. He is to travel to France for the release of his hit song there and also has plans to take “One Pound Fish” to the United States.

Brain scientists at Torontos Sunnybrook Hospital are revolutionizing the way patients with tremors are treated―without surgery or anesthetic(麻醉).
Doctors have successfully used ultrasound(超声)waves to reach an area deep inside the brains of patients suffering from a condition known as “essential tremor,” the most common movement disorder that is often resistant to medical treatment.
With the guidance of an MRI, more than 1,000 ultrasound beams(光束) are delivered to a small target in the brain, killing the cells that cause the uncontrollable shaking. The procedure does not require a general anesthetic and the patient is awake the entire time.
Although only five patients have been treated with ultrasound waves in Canada so far, experts at Sunnybrook say the procedure seems to be safe, with “limited” side effects.
Tony Lightfoot, 68, is among the patients who underwent the procedure to treat his shaky arms and hands. Many patients with tremor have a very difficult time using their dominant hand to eat, drink or write, and for Lightfoot, the simple tasks of drinking water or buttoning his shirt were hard.He said the opportunity to undergo the ultrasound treatment is a “great hope for the future.”“I am hoping to be able to write again,” he said. “I am hoping to write with a cup of coffee in my hand, without spilling. I am hoping to sit with a friend and if he offers you a cup of tea or coffee, I can hold it instead of throwing it all over the place.”
Dr. Andres Lozano of Toronto Western Hospitals Krembil Neuroscience Centre, which is cooperating with Sunnybrook, said the results of the ultrasound wave treatment are “immediate.” “As soon as we burn the cells that cause the tremor, it goes away,” he said. “This is the kind of surgery where you could come in and go home an hour later.”
Dr. Michael Schwartz, the principal investigator, said the results so far are “very exciting.” “Heres a chance to do something without making a hole in the patient, so there is no risk of infection or damage and yet we can achieve the same results as surgery,” he said.
63. Tremors are diseases that .
A. make patients unable to speak
B. cause patients to tremble
C. prevent patients from moving around
D. make patients unable to sleep
64. What do you know about tremors from the passage?
A. Tremors are often caused by viruses.

A. It is safe.
B. It has limited side effects.
C. It has a quick result.
D. It needs only a little anesthetic.

A.Revolutionary treatment uses ultrasound to stop tremors.
B. Doctor sat Sunnybrook Hospital use surgery to cure tremors.
C. Canadian doctors have found a cure toessential tremors.
D. Patients with tremors are treated with ultrasound waves.
[WTHZ]Can stricter gun control laws decrease the rate of crimes involving guns?
Yes, because with fewer weapons, you get fewer crimes.[WT]
Take a look at the crime rates of countries like the United Kingdom. Their crime rate is very low, compared to ours here in the United States. Just by simply putting stricter laws in place on who can own them, it will greatly reduce the crimes involving guns.

Past Practice
There was an assault weapon(攻击性武器) ban back in 1994 under Bill Clinton. Shootings and crime did not go down for the 10 years when this law was in effect. Criminals do not follow rules. The law only affects those who try to obey the law to arm them to protect themselves.

Wake up, you Americans!
Its hardly surprising that America has one of the highest gun related murder rates of all countries! And of course guns dont kill people, but the more people own guns, the easier it is to get access to one, the higher the chance of people using it to kill somebody!
In Germany, we have really strict gun laws and only a few people own guns, and obviously we dont need them. Theres no reason that a normal citizen would need a gun! Guns are made for one reason only: killing.
