Recently in my school, one of my classmates was beaten by some one of the other class. The reason is simple. He tried to stop a group of people who wanted to break into our classroom, for they meant to hurt one of the boys in the class. They were certainly rude people. They hated him, for he stood in their way. So they beat him hard by their fist3 and knocked him on the back and kicked him all over the body. He was hurt not only in body, but in heart. He was burning with the hatred, and decided to take his revenge.
The next two days he did not appear in the classroom. Later we heard that he took some of his best friends along to take his revenge on one of the members who bullied4 him the day before. Some of my classmates agreed to his conducts, and are sympathetic5 to his behavior. He was the boy who had his dignity hurt. Why couldn't he fight back? Others disagreed with the view. They said he could do something else to solve the affair. Two parties argued, and could not reach an agreement.
Was he right to fight back? Later we knew that he had some trouble because of this revenge. The mother of the boy who was beaten came to school, and found the schoolmaster. She reported the affair to the school. Now our classmate is waiting for his bad news.
Arm to Arm, this is one way to solve your problem. In my view it is not the best. Why doesn't he do something else. He could go and find out who those men were, and reported to school, or sought the policemen for help. Sometimes the best thing to do is to not to fight, but be reasonable, and wait for best opportunity.

The Most Exciting Moment

That was the most important game for China's football team to enter the World Cup. It was between China and Oman.
There were only ten minutes left for the 1st half; the score was still 0:0. Suddenly, SunJihai who has been playing in England got the ball, kicked it across to Fan Zhiyi, who has also been playing in England. It was a beautiful kick, however, a player of Oman jumped and stopped the ball with his head. All the spectators1 burst into a loud sigh of regret. Our headmaster invited a foreign teacher to our school to give us an English class. Luckily, our class was chosen to have the English class. The foreign teacher came from Australia, and taught English in Zhangdian.

At last the chosen pair of gloves were wrapped up and paid for as well, and as the girl was about to turn to the next customer, the old lady handed her a little parcel and said, "These now, dear, these are for you and thank you for being so patient. I do hope you have a merry Christmas !"

英语作文写作是英语语言输出和英语语言交际的重要手段,更是培养学生运用英语综合语言表达的有效途径。当前在初中课堂上的英语作文教学中还存在着不少问题,例如教师“一言堂”、“填鸭式”的讲解,或者是模板化的教学方法等,让学生被动的接受,其效果可想而知。如何能够让学生在英语作文写作中发挥出积极性呢?如果从语言的四大基本技能来分析,英语写作相对于听、读而言,写与说是英语语言学习中较难培养和提高的能力,因此科学合理的教学方法的使用是必不可少的。教师在授课过程中要让学生知道什么样的写作方式最吸引人,怎样写才能打动老师,然后通过过不断的教学跟踪、教学调整、教学改进使教学过程更加合理、有效,使教学效率不断提高,进而有效提升学生的英语写作能力。
一、对作文中常见的作文进行专题性的指导
一般来说,初中阶段一个班级的人数在40人左右,也就是一次英语作文写作教师可以
审阅40份作文。教师在审阅作文的过程中,一定能发现学生在作文写作中经常出现的错误,比如字迹潦草、语法错误、标点符合不规范以及格式错误等等,所以,教师很有必要拿出专门的课时来对学生的英语写作进行指导。这样做是因为写作可能没能够引起学生的重视,学生往往看教师审阅完的作文的时候注意力集中在分数上而忽视了教师在作文中所批改的内容,故此教师课堂中将学生容易犯的错误进行总结,并且纠正这些错误,这样不仅可以让学生对此有着深刻的印象,也能让学生端正好自己的态度。
我在给学生上这门课的时候,首先是把在阅卷过程中作文常见的作物按照顺序陈列在黑板上,例如审题不清、拼写错误、句子不完整以及时态人称搭配错误等,然后让学生指出这些错误会给英语作文评分带来哪些不好的影响,当学生的发言结束后我进行的是对这几类错误的详细讲解,这样学生的印象会十分的深刻,由此减少他们下次再犯同样错误的几率。不仅如此,教师也要根据自己的经验来教给学生一些技巧,例如为了避免拼写错误,记得不清楚的单词尽量不要使用,可以用别的记的熟的词语代替等等,避免学生在写作上犯错。同时,教师也要重点强调,写作文的时候,可以先打一个草稿,酝酿一下,作文写完之后要对其进行检查,重点看句子是否缺主语、谓语和宾语等。当然,字迹清晰也是教师强调着重中之重,因为这是作文写作中最好把握的“亮点”之处。
二、强化学生的语法、词组与句型训练
初中英语作文写作要求相对容易,字数也比较少。教师在审阅的过程中往往看的是
是否把主旨准确的表达出来,但是学生在写作的时候往往是都一头、西一头,表达的模糊不清,所以教师有必要加强学生的语法、词组与句型训练。在写作中,正确的语法可以减少不必要的扣分,而词组的正确运用可以让句子有了更好的连贯性,让学生在作文中有话可说。更为重要的是,句型作为英语作文的基本框架,一个新颖闪光的句型,对于提高英语作文分数至关重要。
我在给学生授课的过程中,紧扣初中英语中考大纲,特别注重历年中考的试卷和其中、期末考试试题,确保既要不超出实际范围,又要从学生的实际出发。在对学生强化训练的时候,将主谓、主系表、主谓宾、主谓间宾/直宾,主谓宾宾补用法,并且把句型教学和运用句型相结合。与此同时,也要让学生注意好英语的表达语序,这毕竟是学生写作过程中频繁出错的地方,如名词前常带冠词、名词有单复数等等。强化学生的训练,比较行之有效的办法就是让他们多写多练。教师可以给学生出一些考试过程中常见的话题或者用一些比较好的语句让学生背诵,这样学生在写作的过程中会对倒装句、定语从句等作文写作的“亮点”所在变得熟悉,才会很熟练的用英语表达出来。
三、设计多样,进行任务型教学
教师在对学生进行英语作文辅导的时候,不能总采用一种教学方式或者进行模板教学,虽然这两种方式会在短时间内有一定的成效,但是从长远的角度看,不利于学生创新思维和想象思维的开发,学生最终会感到厌倦。故此,教师可以尝试多样的教学方式,对学生进行任务型授课。
例如:Warming up. Show some pictures to lead in the topic.为了让学生更好的进入状态,教师可以用多媒体展示图片或者是句子填词练习和提问等方式,有计划、有目的的对学生进行目标词汇口头造句。这样的目的在于,一方面可以为学生训练写作提供一定的情境,让学生在练习的过程中不仅巩固了以前学过的单词、词组、语法、句式还可以把他们进行串联,如listen to music,see movies, is bad for,in a right way,for example 等,为,为下面的写奠定了基础。另一方面可以调动学生学习的积极性和活力,活跃课堂气氛,也就是说,学生在一种愉快的环境中进行,才能为提高作文写作水平实现可能性。教师给学生布置好了任务并且进行详细的讲解和一定程度的训练,接下来学生要正式进入写作。学生在此过程中会对以前的问题有了比较深刻的认识,他们再进行语句编排的时候会更注重句式的表达,尽量将有特色、有水平的句子表达出来,将作文“亮点“发挥到极致。

从事中学英语教学多年,深深体会到初中生学习英语的诸多困惑,尤其是英语写作更是困难重重。大量实践表明,绝大多数初中生都感觉英语写作很难,考试的时候总是无从下手,即使写了,也错误连篇,文不对题,少数基础差的要么不写,要么瞎写几句,更有甚者,英文中夹杂汉语拼音,英汉混杂的句子或是汉语式表达比比皆是。对于这些问题,我们的英语老师也是颇为头疼,因此,无论是对于学生的学还是对于教师的教,英语写作学习都得从根本上来解决。那么,我们初中生英语写作学习存在这些问题到底是什么原因造成的?这些问题又该如何解决呢?
一、写作中存在这些问题的原因:
1.学生不重视。
我们少数初中生认为小学里就已经学英语了,自己英语水平还不错,在小学里平时考试考个八九十分是轻而易举的事,所以到了中学里仍然以满不在乎的态度学习英语,仍然以为初中的书面表达也会很简单。
另外,初中的英语试卷结构上客观题比重会逐渐加大,学生会觉得在书面表达上花很多时间,写出一大段文字,而实际上的得分并不多。相比而言,这么多时间和精力花在客观题上,实际效益会更高,所以学生们都会选择花更多的心思在其它方面,而花很少时间在写作上,有的甚至到最后快要来不及了,才匆匆忙忙写上几句敷衍了事。
2.学生基本功不扎实。
初中生在英语写作上存在的问题更多是因为他们的英语基本功不扎实。例如其中的单词拼写错误、大小写不分等等,就是由于学生的单词记忆不牢造成的。如果有哪一方面掌握不好,都有可能造成直接扣分。这就需要学生们认真学习,逐步积累点滴知识,扎实地打好英语词汇、短语、语法等各方面的基本功。
3.教师处理不得法。
学生们写作上的问题也是因为教师对写作部分处理的不当造成的。学生们写作能力进步不明显,教师在处理这一块时也会信心不足,随便处理了事。
二、解决这些问题的策略:
1.激发学生兴趣,引起学生重视。
我们老师要让学生们重视英语写作,首先就得激起学生对英语写作的兴趣。而要激起学生的兴趣,我们老师就得多动脑筋,用多种手段来实现。
2.强化学生的基本功。
同时,我们老师还要让学生更清楚地了解初中英语的目标定位,尤其是写作学习在英语学习中的重要地位以及提高英语写作能力的重要意义。学生的基本功情况从根本上决定了学生写作能力,因此我们初中英语老师一定要强化初中生的基本功学习。包括对学生词汇、短语、语法知识的掌握与检测,提高学生的英语语感,注意帮助学生区分英语与汉语在语言表达上的诸多不同。只有学生的基本功练扎实了,遇到写作练习。就会胸有成竹。游刃有余,减少不必要的失分。
3.改善写作指导方法。
新课标明确要求,要充分利用各种英语资源,丰富和拓展学生学习英语的视野和方式,改进学生学习方法,提高教学效果。因此,我们英语老师要不断反思、不断提高、不断改进教学方法。而对于初中生英语写作的指导方法更需要仔细斟酌。我们可以:不放过每一次的写作练习讲评。每次讲评,我们可以选取部分错误比较典型的文章,以改错的形式让学生自己纠错,这样就能加深学生的印象,提高讲评效率。利用现有教材或范文,引导学生模仿写作。只有先学会仿写,才能进一步自己创造。引导学生多多阅读英文报刊杂志,拓宽学生写作思路。让学生把报刊杂志上的好文章好句子摘抄或剪贴在自己的本子上,平时有空时拿出来读一读,充实自己的英语知识,为写作提供充足的后备资源。
《英语新课程标准》要求要提高初中生的英语听、说、读、写四个方面的综合能力,缺一不可。因此,要注意认真研究学生的学情,多多激发和鼓励学生,不断改进教学方法,积极引导学生在老大难的写作学习中不畏困难,不断进步、不断收获。
Halloween
Halloween is an autumn holiday that Americans celebrate every year. It means holy evening, and it comes every October 31, the evening before All Saints‘ Day. However, it is not really a church holiday, it is a holiday for children mainly.
Every autumn, when the vegetables are ready to eat, children pick large orange pumpkins. Then they cut faces in the pumpkins and put a burning candle inside. It looks as if there were a person looking out of the pumpkin! These lights are called jack-o‘-lanterns, which means Jack of the lantern.
The children also put on strange masks and frightening costumes every Halloween. Some children paint their faces to look like monsters. Then they carry boxes or bags from house to house. Every time they come to a new house, they say,Trick or treat! Money or eat! The grown-ups put treat-money or candy in their bags.
Not only children, but most grown-ups also love Halloween and Halloween parties because on this day,they can disguise themselves as personages or ghost as their imaginations will lead them. This bring them the satisfaction of being young.
