The Journal of Near Eastern Studies is a prestigious and academically valuable journal that focuses on the study of ancient civilizations in the Near East region. It not only covers a wide time span from prehistoric times to classical times, but also encompasses a vast geographical area spanning from the Middle East, the eastern Mediterranean to the Caucasus region.

Our academic contributions come from internationally renowned scholars who have in-depth research and unique insights in Assyrian studies, Egyptology, Hittite studies, Hebrew Bible studies, and related fields of the ancient Near East.
