Magallania SCIE SSCI

Magallania is an academic journal focused on the social sciences and humanities, whose main purpose is to provide a platform for the publication of original research and unpublished results. The journal has a special emphasis on the study of Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica, as well as neighboring islands and the Southeast Pacific region, which have received much academic attention due to their unique geographical, ecological, cultural and social characteristics.

The journal encourages an interdisciplinary approach to research in the fields of history, anthropology, geography, sociology, political science, economics, and environmental science. In this way, the aim is to promote a comprehensive understanding of complex social and natural phenomena in the above-mentioned regions.
