Biodemography and Social Biology is an interdisciplinary academic journal focused on how biological and sociocultural factors work together to influence demographic structure, health, well-being, and behavior. It aims to provide a platform where scholars from different subject areas can exchange and share their research results, promoting a deeper understanding of these complex interactions.

The journal especially welcomes original manuscripts that further advance knowledge in the field of sociobiology. These manuscripts can be theoretical or empirical studies on topics including, but not limited to, population aging, health inequalities, the relationship between socioeconomic status and health, and the influence of culture on health behaviors. In addition, the journal encourages the publication of short reports and review articles, which can be critical analyses of existing research as well as introductions and perspectives on emerging areas of research.
