Acta Poloniae Historica is an academic journal dedicated to the field of history, published by the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences. It has a long historical tradition and enjoys a high reputation in the international history journal community. Since its establishment by renowned Polish historian Marian Ma ł owist in 1958, the journal has been continuously published, mainly focusing on the study of Polish history from the Middle Ages to the present day, as well as articles reflecting important trends in world history in Polish historiography.
