The International Journal of Emerging Markets is a multidisciplinary, multinational research journal focused on emerging markets. It has conducted in-depth and rigorous theoretical and empirical research on emerging markets from multiple disciplinary perspectives such as economics, finance, marketing, and management. The journal publishes a variety of article types, including qualitative research, quantitative research, and review articles such as meta-analyses, aiming to comprehensively reveal the internal mechanisms and external impacts of emerging markets. The magazine particularly encourages comparative research on emerging markets, revealing their respective characteristics and development patterns by comparing the similarities and differences between different emerging markets. Meanwhile, the magazine also welcomes research comparing emerging markets with developed markets to explore the differences and connections between the two. Through these comparative studies, IJoEM provides important theoretical support and empirical evidence for understanding the uniqueness and complexity of emerging markets.
In addition, it also places great emphasis on theoretical explanation and exploration of background differences. It is committed to seeking reasonable explanations for emerging market phenomena, revealing the theoretical logic and mechanisms behind them. At the same time, the magazine also focuses on the background differences between different countries and regions, exploring how these differences affect the development and evolution of emerging markets. Through these efforts, IJoEM has provided valuable academic resources and intellectual support for research and practice in emerging markets.
