European Radiology Experimental is a fully open access official journal published by the European Society of Radiology (ESR). This journal aims to promote the interdisciplinary paradigm of the 21st century and strengthen the close connection between radiology and basic science in experimental settings. The journal encourages the publication of research on phantom studies, cell models and radiobiology, animal models, new technologies/techniques (such as MR sequences or spectral CT applications, molecular, hybrid, and optical imaging), novel contrast materials, tracers, and probes. In addition, 3D modeling, printing, and simulation; Advanced remote radiology (such as virtual doctor patient interaction); New image reconstruction algorithms and post-processing are also considered by this journal. Equally suitable for publication are human studies involving computer-aided detection/diagnosis, data extraction for risk stratification or prognosis, and innovative clinical research design methods.
